Spit Up: How Much Milk did my Baby Actually Spit Up?

Many families are worried about the amount of spit-up that appears to come out of their baby. The reality is that most infants spit up just small amounts.

When your baby spits up, it can cause quite the mess, but worse than the mess is the common concern that your baby has regurgitated every ounce of what was just taken in. Rest assured that spit-up is a very normal thing. Babies spit up for a multitude of reasons ranging from overeating a bit to just simply having an immature digestive system. Most of the time, spitting up is no concern at all.

Watch the video above where we show you how much even just a tablespoon of milk appears to be when splattered all over the front of a baby’s outfit. This will certainly ease your mind the next time you’re convinced your baby has spit-up an entire feeding.
